Privacy and analytics

Clear measurement, limited data.

This website uses first-party, anonymous analytics to understand whether people find and use the Playbook, publications and fellowship resources. It is designed for aggregate programme reporting, not individual profiling.

What is recorded

We record an anonymous browser identifier, a session identifier, pages visited, resource actions, sharing channel attribution, referring website domain and approximate country derived at the time of the request.

What is not recorded

The analytics system does not ask for your name, email address or contact details. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the analytics database, and the website does not combine its measurements with Zenodo views or downloads.

How the data is used

Aggregated information helps OpenSchool Initiative assess reach, improve navigation, understand which resources are useful and report digital dissemination responsibly. Digital activity does not, by itself, prove a policy or institutional outcome.

Your browser controls

The site respects the browser’s Do Not Track setting. You can also opt out below. The setting applies to this browser and can be changed at any time.

Your choice

Anonymous website analytics

Opting out stops future analytics events from this browser and removes its locally stored visitor and session identifiers.

Data is retained only for programme reporting and site improvement and is periodically reviewed for continuing relevance. External services, including Zenodo and linked Google resources, apply their own privacy practices after you follow a link away from this website.
